For a long time, we debated whether or not to even offer a deodorant-there are just so many natural deodorants on the market already.  However, after testing many of the top natural brands, we still couldn't find anything that was both natural and ideal for travel.  Creams and sprays just aren’t convenient to pack and use on the go so those were off the table, and nearly all the natural sticks on the market use some combination of beeswax, coconut oil and baking soda.  These seem to work well as long as you can wash them off at the end of the day but we found that when you are traveling or don’t have access to a shower for days at a time these can be pretty irritating.  Baking soda weakens the skin barrier and both beeswax and coconut oil have a moderate capacity to clog pores and we found that after a few days of continuous use with out showering we wound up with a painful bumpy mess.  In addition, these oil based sticks are super sensitive to temperature so when it’s cold they are rock solid and when it’s hot they’re melty and gooey. We set out to make something that would be suitable for long term outdoor use and easy to travel with and here is what we came up with:
